Eaton completed “the largest acquisition in the electrical industry”Eaton acquired Westinghouse’s power distribution and control business unit and integrated it with Cutler-Hammer, accumulating certain strengths in the electrical business field of North America.With the acquisition above as well as others (DeltaPLC, Phoenixtec, Moeller, and Powerware), Eaton has taken the lead in the world’s power management field.
